Home Maker Service

Our homemaker services provide housekeeping to help maintain inactive/older adults' level of independence in their home. Routine household care may include:

Routine cleaning (dust or wet cloth and vacuum) of immediate living space:
Family room/living room
Bedroom
Bathroom
Kitchen
Assist with meal planning and meal preparation
Clean refrigerator
Assist with shopping and errands
Laundry
Take out garbage, empty litter box

The individual receiving the service needs to provide all supplies and household equipment needed. The department contracts with several community agencies for provision of Homemaker services.
