The A & A StoryThe Assured & Associate Personal Care of Georgia story began in 2001 when Ruby Brown, a Certified Nurse Assistant in home healthcare, experienced the need first hand. Sometimes the requests were simple – a rub on the hand or a reassuring touch. Sometimes, it was simply a request for a few minutes of conversation to brighten the day.
Ruby and her entrepreneurial husband, Charles Brown, knew in their hearts and in their minds they could provide a solution. We have learned that there is so much more human compassion to offer, beyond the basic duties of personal care. The simple thought provided us with the energy, patience and stamina to work diligently. Today, that solution is known as Assured & Associates Personal Care of Georgia – the business Ruby and Charles founded offered helping hands to enable people to stay in their own homes. Assured and Associate provide nursing and personal in-home care to thousands of people across the State of Georgia.
It has been a truly rewarding and fulfilling experience to be able to do the work that we love.

My greatest-found treasure was my passion for providing personal home health care, and the ability to develop a career in this business. Secondly, my visit with my patient, Dr. Judson Hawk, one of the founding members of Egleston and Scottish Rite Children Hospital, was a turning point for me. He was so pleased and gracious with my care that he encouraged me to enter into this profession. Armed with his encouragement, along with my husband’s support and my determination this has become a reality.
